2025

Surely, we aren’t the only ones having a hard time accepting that the year is two thousand and twenty-five.
Deep in the throes of Winter, we are eager for the upcoming growing season. This will be our biggest, busiest year yet. We have so much planned and are really looking forward to it.

First off, we’ll be raising the most meat birds ever! Our customer base continues to grow, which we are so thankful for. As any business owner knows, that means decisions must be made on how to accomplish more while staying true to our principles surrounding our property and regenerative practices. Problem solving is what it’s all about and we love it!

Second, I will be focusing on some specific house remodel projects this year. Some big things really must get done this year but it’s just so easy to get distracted with smaller, “easier” tasks. Sometimes I just really want to see something completed and I find myself drawn to projects that I can get done in a day or two. No more putting these larger issues off!

Third, we have committed to doing more backpacking this year and will be hitting the trails harder than ever in preparation for tackling the Cohos Trail this Fall. We are nervous but really excited to make it happen. It will take a lot of work to allow each of us the two weeks away from the homestead needed but it’s one of our priorities for sure.

Thanks for stopping by and keep in touch!

Matt
